When night and day
Together come to stay
There's seen a ray
That shows the way
"Day" calls the mind of the optimist
"Night" is beckoned by the pessimist
Realist sees the ray as a "line"
Measures the options offered by this isocline
Dawn reckons the future bright
Teaches us to look at what's coming in sight
Dusk glooms over the day gone by
Reminiscing the past day with a sigh
