A Token of Gratitude

S o much I have learned from you
H ope I can put them to good use
I n future life and times to come, as
V alues learned from you are precious and rare
A s is your love and your care…

K nowledge that you have given us
U nending is its scope and buzz
M aking us aware of our cognitive biases
A rming us with hidden weapons
R educing our inhibitions and fears…

S omething about you makes me have
R emembrances of you as someone very dear
I n life I have met only a few like you
N ot many make me feel how you do
I nspiring me to use my skills
V aluable are they to make good kill
A s more and more I come to know you
S omething about you always comes as new
A nd that’s what inspires me to know you more
N one can forget your charms after knowing you…
