GET WELL & EXCEL, SHANOO!!!

Why this pain?
Why this suffering?
Why to those
Who soothe the ailing...
Is it God's love
For stigmata...
Or is it just
Imagination's errata?

Whatever it be
It's not for us to think;
We are supposed
To merely drink—
Be it poison
Be it potion
Be it desire
Or an emotion...

But,
What is this life
If full of love and care!!!
We have nothing
To fight or fear...
Life is worthless
Without the constant tarry
In quest of happiness
We must quarry...
As sweet-smelling flowers
Are accompanied by thorns;

When adversary is won over
A HERO is born...
So, my sis, always remember,
Whatever may come and go,
It's the fighting hero
Who flourish and grow...

The following is her reply to the poem above:

Thank You, Bhaiya

It is not words,
That can express
My love and gratitude
to you, dear bhaiya...

It’s fate’s kindness,
which spares the noble;
And turns fire,
To mere a spark.

This is God’s love
So rarely bestowed
And I’m lucky enough
To be worth it...

While He erects hurdles
He has also made
People like you
And the many others who care
To help overcome
Come what may.

Nevertheless, it’s a second life
To begin afresh
And wash away old grit
With the eternal voice
Which says “ It’s over now,
The devil’s at bay.”

And I am now akin to
What I’d never heeded:
“Life is priceless,
Don’t let it slip away...”

I wish I had heeded to your advice 7 years ago and started writing a diary... So much to life gets forgotten along the way! Its amazing to see this after years, after a journey, after going through numerous changes, a glimpse of the forgotten past..

Loved the post :)
