Morning 9:00 you got to be in class
Till noon you got to tolerate all the crass
One professor comes while the other one goes
As you strive not to doze...

Everyday you work till dawn
And yet you don't have the freedom to yawn
Sleepless nights lead into dozey days
And you try and work in zombie ways
Running around like mice in this 'knowledge' maze
When your mind like the campus is in a cloudy haze...

A month has gone, 19 more to go
I know not, in these stormy seas, how to row
Eyes are aching, my mind's a dough
I have been running since when, I don't know...
